It’s a new year and our Kichaka Lodge has a new look! Last year, we undertook major renovations on Kichaka Lodge and the results are stunning (even if we do say so ourselves)!
The décor of the new Kichaka is a modern uptake of traditional safari and colonial style and the ambiance created is one of comfortable elegance. Not only did we revamp the suites but we also added a new spa and a well-equipped gym. The architect-designed spa, set above the waterhole, boasts floor-to-ceiling, panoramic windows – enabling guests to peer out at the nearby ‘hippo hollow’ in absolute privacy. It is the perfect place to see in the new year and truly go into 2021 feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The 10 suites are decorated in the same luxurious style as the main lodge and the finest fittings in the bathrooms are an indulgence, with enormous baths, rain shower heads and “his & hers” basins. Each suite has a private deck with heated plunge pool and an outside shower. The suites have been perfectly positioned to maximise the sense of being in the bush.
